The Fluid Sealing Association Appoints Jason Ferris as President of the Association
The Fluid Sealing Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Ferris as President.
Mr. Ferris is currently Director / GM of the Cryogenic Solutions business unit in Flowserve’s Pumps Division and is based in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Mr. Ferris has 28 years of experience with mechanical seals and rotating equipment, having worked as an Application Engineer and Product Development Engineer, and in leadership roles within R&D, Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management for seals and aftermarket products. He holds five patents and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University. He has served on the Association’s Board of Directors since 2018 and most recently completed a two-year term as Vice President (2023–2025).
An active member of the Fluid Sealing Association since 2013, Mr. Ferris has played a significant role in the Mechanical Seals Division and previously served as Chair of the division.

Founded in 1933, the Fluid Sealing Association is an international trade association. Member companies are involved in the production and marketing of a wide range of fluid sealing and containment devices primarily targeted to the industrial market. Membership includes companies in Europe and Central and South America, but is most heavily concentrated in North America. Members account for a majority of the manufacturing capacity for fluid sealing and containment devices in the Americas market.
